Back in 2014, Whitney Woodard was just a 17-year-old high school student who was looking for a hobby and decided to start beading. It started with tassel necklaces for herself, family, and friends, but when Whitney began posting pictures of the jewelry on Instagram, people really started paying attention. One store picked up on the tassel trend and before she knew it, her jewelry was found in stores all over the country. What started as her signature tassel necklaces quickly grew into pearl wraps, anklets, wrap bracelets, horn necklaces, and so much more.
Nowadays, the native Austinite works full-time on Beaded by W with a team as passionate about helping other women, tassels, and giving back to the community as she is.
